Simple Tuesday night dinner with wagyu beef and a truffle salad at the beautiful brasserie of Villa Lorraine. Like my parents have always told me, I never do something half way, it's all the way or nothing at all. Last night we celebrated my fathers 59th birthday, and since my mother is away playing golf and my brother is in England, I had the honour of going to dinner with my dad.
We are the most delicious wagyu beed accompanied by a truffle salad that was absolutely amazing. The meat melted in your mouth and made your taste buds feel like they were on cloud9. The atmosphere in this beautiful brasserie is typical Belgian style, very cosy and at the same time very rich in decor. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful, they make you feel at ease from the start when you check in your jacket and open the doors for you.
